Waulkmill Cider - Scotland
Waulkmill Cider is produced using real fruit not concentrate, made with Culinary and Dessert Fruit grown and picked within Scotland. Unlike most of his colleagues, Chris lets Mother Nature do her work and naturally ferment the cider.
What is characteristics of your cider?
Our cider is purely made from our own Scottish apples straight from our farm in Dumfries and Galloway. We are there through every step of the process, from planting the apples to bottling the cider! We ensure there's nothing but fruit in there, and no added glucose.
What part of the cider production is most important for you?
Blending is the most important part of the process. As our fruit is picked at different time of the growing season we blend the finished product in the following year around June/July.
What's the best/most interesting thing about producing cider?
We use as many Scottish Heritage Apples and Pears as Possible, keeping these lost varieties alive is very important to use. Many varieties iam afraid are now lost to History!!

Mooseheid Perry - 5%ABV Craft Perry made from perry pears. It is a Medium perry, has a Distinct fruit pallet, high fruit mouth feel and a smooth high alcohol crisp finish.
